Double-hand Poker Rules

Let’s become versed in some alternate styles of poker other than Texas holdem, five card stud, 5 card draw and omaha high. Yes, double-hand poker. Now you might be thinking that double-hand sounds a little Chinese; yes you’re right, this game is a mixture of the Chinese game pai gow and poker
Absolutely this is not one of the most popular forms of poker but still widely played. It can be played by up to seven players. It is played with one deck of cards, with a joker. Interestingly, joker can be used only as an ace, or to complete a straight, a flush, straight flush, or royal flush. The important aspect here to bear in mind is other than the customary ranking of hands we have an additional winning hand that is "Five Aces" (5 aces including the joker). Astonishingly, five aces is greater than every other hand including royal flush. Every player is dealt seven cards. The cards are aligned to make two hands; a two card hand and a 5 card hand. The five card hand has to be stronger or be equal to the 2 card hand.
After arranging the two hands, the cards are placed on the poker table with the faces down. Once on the table, you cannot change them. The croupier will flip over their cards and arrange his hands. Every competitors hand is played against the croupier’s hands. Should the player take 1 hand and lose the other, this is called a "push" and absolutely no money is lost or won. If croupier wins both hands then the player looses their wager the opposite is true if the player wins both hands. Now if the hand is a draw, the croupier wins everything. After the hand is played, the next player clock-wise becomes the dealer and the next hand is dealt.

Leading Ten Hand Tactic in Poker
Mar 13th, 2010 by Miranda

This is,beyond question, one of the most important concepts in holdem. Using a top ten tactic is the absolute 1st tactic that competitors need to learn because it shows the player good habits that will lead to later winnings.

People are constantly asking me what a great, solid strategy is for a amateur participating in texas holdem. My answer is constantly the same, use a top 10 strategy.

Top Ten strategy, refers to the top ten pockets hands that you can get. These hands are a pair of aces, king-king, QQ, ace-king suited, JJ, 10-10, nine-nine, 88, ace-queen suited, and 77. The strategy indicates that you only play these hands. This will lead to very conservative play, but for a beginner to texas hold’em, conservatively is exactly how you will want to compete.

It appears to me that I am always observing new players wagering very aggressively, they’re the earliest players to go all in, and that is typically the wrong strategy. If these beginner bettors would stay with a top 10 poker tactic, they routinely would fair much more in the long run. More significantly, this conservative top 10 poker strategy will educate the new competitor understanding, which is the most vital ability that a hold’em competitor can possess.

Hold’em Strategies
Mar 6th, 2010 by Miranda

Almost every hold’em poker match can have a technique. One has to figure out a plan that will help you win the game. Sadly, not all schemes work.

When looking at a tactic there are many elements that need to be considered. One factor is the number of competitors, and how gentle or strong the players at the table are. You’ll need to be more mindful in larger matches. Another factor is your bankroll balance. You’ll want to compete extremely efficiently and pick a hand incredibly tactfully if you’ve got a bank balance of just a few dollars.

We spend very little time in thinking and thinking about the game away from the poker table, as all of our time goes into betting. One frequently missed point is to know our own strengths and limits. Little mistakes can add up, and when the games are harder these smallest of errors can turn the tables on us and move us from the winning position to the not winning. So in place of aimlessly gambling, we must pickup scheme that might be to our advantage.

You must constantly keep in mind that competing in each hand does not actually make you a success. You need to be picky in your gambling and your cards. You need to bet smaller but better hands then your opponents. For this you need to take anticipated and planned danger and back them strongly. You have to dawdle for the correct cards, and when you need them, you have to go for the jugular.
