Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a short holiday with my wife to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I noticed how the other men and women around the PokerPro tables relate with each other. It was pretty fascinating to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there have been no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stagnant. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, except I did observe the players on the table had a lifeless quality to them. The reason for this may be since there was no human conversation with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked bored. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live variant of an internet based texas hold’em poker room instead of sitting with hot bodied humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to a show of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the stay tables was over an hour, I decided to observe how the game play was and to experience this new holdem poker gaming technologies. Following wagering a few hands, I actually felt like I was wagering at house. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are possible at these computer tables.
An additional thing I noticed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a great deal of hands on the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a lot like an internet based hold em poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become extremely odd.
Right after playing a couple of rounds with this "new texas hold’em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m far better off wagering texas hold em poker on the web at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling establishment were to receive rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would shed a good deal of gamblers.
