Newcomer Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
January 30th, 2020 by Miranda

Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their money.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick choices.

It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with only a tiny amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
