Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks
June 9th, 2017 by Miranda

Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus a figure on par with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up chips even with your original bet and controlled odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
