Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced people winning their mulla.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick choices.
It’s also much simpler to play for a very long time with only a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
